I'm in my studio, nestled in the heart of Perpignan, where each of my paintings is born. Inspired by the mountains surrounding us as well as the wonderful Côte Vermeille, I offer my personal interpretation - rooted in texture - of the beauty, colours and landscapes offered by nature.

Unique pieces

The creations are born along my walks in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Simple moments in contact with nature that nourish my inspiration.

The Catalan landscapes offer a natural and vernacular richness that fascinates me.

Through my works, I seek to convey this sweetness of life by working as much as possible with natural light, so that it becomes a fully integral component of the creative process. As the material becomes relief, these create contrasts with which the light plays to cast shadows that evolve with the hours of sunshine.

My work sits halfway between painting and sculpture. I shape the material with my fingers, knives and various tools, in a free and intuitive gesture. Like a potter working clay, this direct contact with the material becomes essential, almost meditative.
